Red clover flower (Trifolium pratense) is known to have expectorant (expels phlegm from respiratory tract) and anti-inflammatory properties. Often used as a topical dermatological agent.
Direction:
Infuse one heaped teaspoon with one cup of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes and strain before drinking.
If not using the tea straight away, you can store it in a covered jug or container in the fridge for up to 24 hours and gently warm the mixture before drinking.
