Camomile flower, also know as Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is known to have anti-inflammatory, calming and sleep-promoting properties. Often used to support healthy digestive function.
Infuse 1-2 heaped teaspoons of Camomile flower in a cup of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes. Strain and drink several cups daily.
Infusion may be gargled or applied topically to the skin as required.
If not using the tea straight away, you can store it in a covered jug or container in the fridge for up to 24 hours and gently warm the mixture before drinking.
